Description
Barnardo’s is a well-established voluntary adoption agency. The service recruits, trains and approves adoptive families from within a 50-mile radius of its service base. The service also provides adoption support, both post-placement and post-adoption, to adoptive families approved by Barnardo’s, and the children placed with them. It is a child-focused service which delivers good outcomes for children. The agency as a whole places a high priority on safeguarding.
Adopters praise the high levels of support and strong relationships they can build with the small, friendly staff team. Adopters are invited to attend regular training courses, workshops and family events to build their skills and knowledge and to maintain relationships with the agency.
